Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to ticket purchases made for TEDxWCE Sangli, an independently organized TEDx event hosted by Walchand College of Engineering.

By purchasing a ticket for the event, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Ticket Cancellation

Once a ticket for TEDxWCE Sangli has been successfully purchased, cancellation requests may be considered only within a limited time frame from the time of purchase.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by contacting the TEDxWCE organizing team through the official communication channel provided on the website.

The organizing team reserves the right to review and approve cancellation requests based on applicable policies and event timelines.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate payment made for the same ticket

• Payment deducted but ticket confirmation not received

• Event cancellation by the organizing team

Refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of the transaction for payment-related issues.

Refunds will not be applicable for:

• Change of personal plans

• Inability to attend the event

• Late arrival or partial attendance

3. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

In the event that TEDxWCE Sangli is cancelled or significantly rescheduled, the organizing team will notify all registered attendees.

Eligible ticket holders may receive:

• A full refund, or

• Transfer of the ticket to the rescheduled event date, depending on the circumstances.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during ticket purchase.

Refund processing may take 7–10 business days depending on the policies of the payment gateway and banking institutions.

All payments for TEDxWCE Sangli tickets are processed through the authorized payment gateway integrated with Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.

5. Non-Transferability

Tickets issued for TEDxWCE Sangli are generally non-transferable and non-refundable, except in cases specifically mentioned in this policy.
